New Beginnings
We just Skyped with the director that lives in Guatemala. Its official. We are going to Guatemala in August... until further notice. We will likely fly home to visit before leaving.
We will have a "training period" where we will attend two hours of Spanish school a day and shadow the current (temporary) houseparents.
In November we will fly home for my brothers wedding (CONGRATS PAUL AND KELEE!!!) We won't be home for Christmas :(.
After the wedding we will fly back and begin taking over gradual responsibility.
We are scared.overwhelmed.excited.blessed.nervous. and certain that we are heading where the Lord is leading us.
Our current challenge:
How do we fund raise enough money on an ongoing basis to cover basic expenses and visit home yearly? We will need to raise about $2000 a year ($167/month). Any suggestions?
