Two Weeks to Michign

Cat carrier? Check.

He also got a new harness, he's all set. Us? Well, were not quite there yet.

The majority of our furniture is being picked up by its purchaser tomorrow afternoon, that will help us feel much more ready. We have decided to take a car to Michigan, instead of flying, it will be easier to move all of the business stuff that way.

We will be in Michigan until November 8th, then will fly into Mexico. After staying a few days we will THEN be going to Huehue.

We have a busy month ahead!

Things feel real now.

Bob stopped while we were packing today to look at me and say "Hey. Were doing it!"

We are more excited every single day. It feels like we need to go NOW but I know that every day we work means a bit more security in the future.

We have started doing the Rosetta stone program to work on our Spanish, we feel like were doing pretty well but when we try to speak quickly realize we know next to nothing and have a LONG way to go.

In the last blog post Bob wrote about how we managed to pay off all of the private student loans and the remainder of our medical debt! We feel much lighter now and its strange and wonderful.

We are focusing how to operate the business from Guatemala and how to best make that happen right now. Its very exciting! (www.7continentsminerals.com if you want to see what we do)

Last week we received an email with very exciting news!

There is one living space in the Fundacion that we think is particularly awesome and the person that lives there will be getting married. He is moving out and suggested that we take it. There would be plenty of room to run the business from in that space! It was unexpected and very exciting!

This month we have been praying for God to help prepare our hearts because strangely if we can expect one thing to happen in the next 6 months its that we will face things we didn't expect.

We can expect to be blindsided and challenged for sure though.

We can expect to be pushed, pulled, and stretched into growing to be more like the people God intended us to be.

We expect to meet God in a way that we never had before and learn to lean on Him, each other, and our new community we will be a part of.
